Gent Open 2026

 

Het Gent Open 2026 zal opnieuw plaatsvinden in het Sint-Barbaracollege in Gent. In 2024 was de kerk voor het eerst beschikbaar als schaakruimte. De vele positieve reacties die we ontvingen in 2024 en 2025 tonen aan dat dit een succesvol initiatief was. Ook voor dit toernooi zal de kerk opnieuw beschikbaar zijn.

Er zijn een aantal belangrijke wijzigingen voor deze editie van het Open Internationaal Schaaktoernooi van Gent. Gelieve de toernooiwebsite te raadplegen voor de nieuwe procedure van inschrijven en aanmelden.

 

The Ghent Open 2026 will once again take place at Sint-Barbaracollege in Ghent. In 2024, the church was available as a chess venue for the first time. The many positive reactions we received in 2024 and 2025 show that this was a successful initiative. The church will also be available for this tournament.
